Jersey City has quietly become one of the most compelling addresses on the Hudson. The Gold Coast towers of Paulus Hook and Newport put the entire Manhattan skyline on the other side of the glass, close enough to touch, at a scale that Manhattan itself rarely offers. Meanwhile, the tree-lined historic blocks of Van Vorst Park and Hamilton Park hold some of the finest brownstones and Victorian rowhouses in the region: grand, high-ceilinged, and increasingly owned by people who could have bought across the river and chose not to.

Luxury Residential Interior Design in Jersey City
In the waterfront high-rises, the view is the whole reason you are there, and we design so it never has to compete. Warm walnut and stone temper the glass; custom built-ins and dressing rooms solve the storage that developers ignore; layered lighting turns the skyline into an evening feature rather than a floating black wall. Chef-caliber kitchens, spa primary baths with freestanding tubs, and home offices that genuinely function are the standard, not the upgrade.
In the brownstones of Van Vorst and Paulus Hook, we work the other direction: protecting and restoring original moldings, medallions, mantels, and floors, then threading a modern life through them. A parlor floor becomes an open entertaining level with a proper island and a wine room; the garden level opens to a rear yard; the top floor becomes a primary suite that feels like a retreat above the city.

How a Project Works
1. Start with a conversation
A consultation at our Little Silver studio or your property. We talk through the space, the scope, how you live or work in it, and what you want the finished project to accomplish. No obligation, and you will always be speaking with Beth.
2. Design and decisions
Space planning, materials, millwork and cabinetry design, lighting, and furnishings developed into one coherent plan, with drawings and documentation your contractor and trades can actually build from.
3. We carry it to the finish
We coordinate the trades, manage orders and timelines, and stay on the project through installation and styling, so you get a completed space rather than a plan left for you to assemble.

Do you work with condo and co-op boards on approvals?
This is essential on the Hudson waterfront, and we prepare and manage board packages, alteration agreements, and building requirements so your renovation clears approval and proceeds cleanly.
What do you know about Jersey City's towers and historic districts?
A fair amount, from working both sides of this market: the mechanical and structural quirks of a 1990s or 2000s tower versus the plaster and joist realities of a Van Vorst rowhouse are two different jobs, and we bring the right trade partners and approach to each rather than treating a renovation here as one-size-fits-all.
Do you handle commercial projects here too?
Yes. Beyond the categories you would expect, we also partner directly with developers on lobbies, amenity floors, and model residences, the spaces that often close a sale or a lease before a single unit spec sheet comes up.
