Interior Design in Eatontown, New Jersey
Eatontown carries two identities. Both are real. Route 35 and the Monmouth Mall corridor make it central Monmouth's retail engine, now mid-transformation as the old enclosed mall becomes Kushner Companies' Monmouth Square, a nine-hundred-ninety-thousand-square-foot open-air retail and residential project anchored by a Whole Foods. Behind that frontage sit older residential streets off Wyckoff Road and Broad Street, where St. James Memorial Church has stood since 1866 and the Eatontown Historical Museum occupies a house built in the 1700s.
INSABELLADESIGN works across both sides of that split. On the residential side, we bring full-service interior design, custom kitchens and baths, millwork, lighting, and furnishings, to homes that deserve more than a builder's standard finish package. On the commercial side, we bring the same rigor to the retail, medical, and professional spaces that make Eatontown's business district one of the busiest in Monmouth County.

Luxury Residential Interior Design in Eatontown
Off Wyckoff Road and Broad Street, the houses are older and quieter than the retail corridor nearby suggests. Kitchens and baths are usually where we make the biggest difference: custom cabinetry, stone counters, integrated appliances, millwork and lighting that separate a planned room from a builder's default. We carry the same palette into the living and dining rooms so the house reads as one project, not a kitchen renovation with a house attached.
In the primary suite we build an actual retreat: a spa bath with a freestanding tub and heated floor, a custom vanity, a closet finished like real cabinetry. Elsewhere we add built-ins, paneling, and layered lighting, and we finish lower levels and outdoor living space so a house this close to Eatontown's commercial hum still functions as a quiet place to land.

Commercial Interior Design in Eatontown
Eatontown is the strongest commercial market in our home territory, and we treat it as a real part of the practice, not a sideline. We design upscale retail, professional and medical offices, and restaurant and hospitality interiors built to hold up under the traffic a Route 35 location gets, particularly as Monmouth Square reopens the old mall site as nearly a million square feet of open-air retail with a thousand residential units built in. A well-finished interior is a real advantage on a corridor this competitive.

The INSABELLADESIGN Difference
Eatontown asks a firm to be fluent in two different kinds of work at once, a homeowner's kitchen and a retail build-out on a corridor built for volume, and we run both through the same process. Founder Beth Insabella Walsh leads every Eatontown project herself, residential or commercial, from first walkthrough to final install.
Since 1996, this WBENC-certified, woman-owned, ASID- and IIDA-credentialed firm has kept design, sourcing, and installation in-house rather than parceling a project out to subcontracted vendors. In a town remaking as much of its commercial real estate as Eatontown is right now, that kind of continuity is what keeps a project moving instead of stalled behind someone else's punch list.

As an architect with considerable experience with differing project types, working with Beth and her staff has been a pleasure. Beth's team brought a fresh approach to the tired-looking interior of a subsidized housing midrise project built in the 1970s. Insabella Design is a highly skilled, motivated, and reliable firm that can be an asset to any interior design project. She and her team are dependable and committed to achieving excellence in their work. I look forward to working with Beth on our next project.

How a Project Works
1. Start with a conversation
A consultation at our Little Silver studio or your property. We talk through the space, the scope, how you live or work in it, and what you want the finished project to accomplish. No obligation, and you will always be speaking with Beth.
2. Design and decisions
Space planning, materials, millwork and cabinetry design, lighting, and furnishings developed into one coherent plan, with drawings and documentation your contractor and trades can actually build from.
3. We carry it to the finish
We coordinate the trades, manage orders and timelines, and stay on the project through installation and styling, so you get a completed space rather than a plan left for you to assemble.

Eatontown Interior Design FAQs
Are you interior designers or interior decorators?
We are a full-service design firm. That means space planning and design documentation, custom kitchens and baths, millwork, lighting, furnishing and installation. Decoration is part of the work, not the whole of it.
What does full service include?
Drawings, custom millwork and casework, lighting design, finishes, furnishings, procurement, trade coordination and installation. We coordinate the trades and manage the schedule.
Have you worked in this area?
Yes. Holmdel Residence, Colts Neck Residence and Monmouth Medical Center are in Monmouth County. The studio is in Little Silver and we work across New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Florida.
Do you design commercial spaces as well as homes?
Yes. Alongside residential work we design medical, corporate, government, retail and multifamily interiors. Work in Monmouth County includes Monmouth Medical Center, Monmouth County Prosecutors Office and Monmouth County Child Advocacy Center.
Do you take single rooms, or only whole homes?
Both. Scope runs from a single room to a full renovation or new build.
How do your fees work?
It depends on scope, from a single room to a full renovation or new build. After an initial consultation we provide a detailed proposal.
Who leads the project?
Beth Insabella Walsh, the firm’s founder, leads every project.
