Interior Design in Little Silver, New Jersey
INSABELLADESIGN is headquartered at 160 White Road in Little Silver, a town named for the Parker family's estate in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Joseph and Peter Parker settled here in 1667, on land between Parker's Creek and Little Silver Creek. The colonials, capes, and newer custom homes here, many along Rumson Road and toward the water at Little Silver Point, sit near a train station on Sycamore Avenue that the architect Henry Hobson Richardson designed in 1890. We've designed homes here since 1996.
Being local changes the practical side of a renovation. We already know which streets near the Shrewsbury River and Little Silver Point sit in flood zones, where mechanicals have to go up and finished living space can't sit at grade, and which of the borough's older capes hide a bearing wall between the kitchen and everything else.

Luxury Residential Interior Design in Little Silver
Our residential work covers whole-home renovations of established colonials, custom finishes for new construction, and reworkings of capes and ranches that push past their original footprint. We design kitchens built for real cooking, primary baths with honed stone and a freestanding tub, custom millwork and built-ins, wine storage, and the lighting and casework that separate a good house from a genuinely well-made one.
We work in a warm, transitional style suited to the town's architecture: painted millwork, natural wood and stone, layered lighting, furnishings that read as collected rather than ordered from a set. On homes near the water, we build to flood-zone requirements from the start, elevating mechanicals and framing finished space above grade rather than treating it as a late add.

How a Project Works
1. Start with a conversation
A consultation at our Little Silver studio or your property. We talk through the space, the scope, how you live or work in it, and what you want the finished project to accomplish. No obligation, and you will always be speaking with Beth.
2. Design and decisions
Space planning, materials, millwork and cabinetry design, lighting, and furnishings developed into one coherent plan, with drawings and documentation your contractor and trades can actually build from.
3. We carry it to the finish
We coordinate the trades, manage orders and timelines, and stay on the project through installation and styling, so you get a completed space rather than a plan left for you to assemble.

We are a full-service design firm. That means space planning and design documentation, custom kitchens and baths, millwork, lighting, furnishing and installation. Decoration is part of the work, not the whole of it.
