Interior documentation and coordination with contractors and building teams
At Vito Mazza Salon in Woodbridge, a quieter lounge transitions into a more energetic main salon. Custom features, upholstery, mirrors, and a coordinated palette support those different experiences. The project shows how a business can maintain one identity while giving different parts of the interior their own atmosphere and practical role.
A tenant lounge for gathering and work
Our Woodbridge Tenant Lounge brings gathering and focused activity into a common interior. Its features include a central island, privacy-oriented lounge furniture, a telephone booth, and wood acoustical wall treatments. For a new amenity project, we begin with the building's own users and operating needs rather than repeating the same arrangement.
How a project works
01
Define the project
Tell us about your space, the people who use it, and what you want to change. After the initial consultation, a detailed proposal sets out the services and design fees.
02
Develop the design together
Review layouts, materials, lighting, and furnishings with us. We refine the selections with you and prepare the drawings and specifications included in your scope.
03
Bring the interior to completion
We coordinate the agreed work with your contractor and trades, manage furnishing orders and delivery, and stay involved through installation and styling.

Client feedback on our firm
As an architect with considerable experience with differing project types, working with Beth and her staff has been a pleasure. Beth's team brought a fresh approach to the tired-looking interior of a subsidized housing midrise project built in the 1970s. Insabella Design is a highly skilled, motivated, and reliable firm that can be an asset to any interior design project. She and her team are dependable and committed to achieving excellence in their work. I look forward to working with Beth on our next project.
Our commercial portfolio includes Vito Mazza Salon and the Woodbridge Tenant Lounge. The salon demonstrates distinct lounge and service areas; the tenant lounge illustrates different settings for gathering, work, and private calls.
What determines the scope of a commercial interior project?
The scope depends on the users, activities, existing conditions, required changes, and project team. Available plans, operational priorities, equipment needs, and an anticipated investment range help us discuss the services and coordination the project needs.
What affects the design budget and timeline?
The rooms involved, extent of renovation, custom work, product availability, building requirements, and installation needs all affect the project. Share your priorities and anticipated investment at the initial consultation; a detailed proposal follows that conversation.
Can you work with my architect or contractor?
Yes. We coordinate the agreed interior design scope with the relevant project professionals. Design, engineering, construction, and approvals have different responsibilities, which should be established for the individual project.
