INSABELLADESIGN serves Iselin homes and Metropark-area workplaces. We design conference and presentation spaces for businesses, and kitchens and gathering rooms for households, with separate briefs for each project.
In Iselin, we create distinctive residential and commercial interiors, from private homes to offices, healthcare settings, and shared amenities. Our services connect space planning, custom cabinetry, lighting, and furnishings with interior drawings, specifications, purchasing, and project coordination. Your project begins with a clear scope built around your needs.
Renovations and complete interiors
Bring a new direction to your home with rooms that feel connected, comfortable, and distinctly yours.

Custom cabinetry and millwork, coordinated finishes, and lighting
Interior drawings and specifications to guide the project team
Furnishing and finishing your home
Create a complete interior, from a new home to rooms that need a thoughtful update around pieces you love.
Furniture layouts and selections that suit the room and your way of living
Upholstery, rugs, fabrics, window treatments, and lighting
Purchasing, delivery coordination, installation, and final styling
Workplaces and shared interiors
Express your organization’s identity in spaces that welcome visitors and support the people who use them every day.
Offices, reception, meeting rooms, and tenant lounges
Finishes, lighting, furnishings, and custom details selected for the setting
Interior documentation and coordination with contractors and building teams
A conference room needs more than a table and screen. We plan seating, viewing angles, lighting, and storage together, coordinating technology with the project team so presentations and everyday meetings are both comfortable.
Kitchen and gathering spaces
For residential projects, we begin with the kitchen and gathering spaces you want to improve. We review storage, seating, and movement between rooms, then develop cabinetry, lighting, and furnishings around your household's priorities.
Tell us about the space, your priorities, and the design support you need. We discuss the next step and any consultation fee before arranging a meeting. A detailed proposal follows the initial consultation, setting out the services and design fees.
02
Develop the design together
Review layouts, materials, lighting, and furnishing selections with us. We refine the design around your preferences and prepare the drawings and specifications included in the scope, so the project team has a coordinated direction.
03
Bring the interior to completion
We coordinate the agreed work with your contractor and trades, manage furnishing orders and delivery arrangements, and stay involved through installation and styling. Building access and product lead times are considered alongside the project schedule.

As an architect with considerable experience with differing project types, working with Beth and her staff has been a pleasure. Beth's team brought a fresh approach to the tired-looking interior of a subsidized housing midrise project built in the 1970s. Insabella Design is a highly skilled, motivated, and reliable firm that can be an asset to any interior design project. She and her team are dependable and committed to achieving excellence in their work. I look forward to working with Beth on our next project.
Can you redesign a conference room without replacing an entire office?
Yes. A conference room can be scoped as a defined interior project. We review its users, furniture, lighting, technology needs, and relationship to the surrounding office before developing the design.
What determines the scope of a commercial interior project?
The scope depends on the users, activities, existing conditions, required changes, and project team. Available plans, operational priorities, equipment needs, and an anticipated investment range help us discuss the services and coordination the project needs.
What affects the design budget and timeline?
The rooms involved, extent of renovation, custom work, product availability, building requirements, and installation needs all affect the project. Share your priorities and anticipated investment at the initial consultation; a detailed proposal follows that conversation. Any consultation fee is explained before a meeting is arranged.
Can you work with my architect or contractor?
Yes. We coordinate the agreed interior design scope with the relevant project professionals. Design, engineering, construction, and approvals have different responsibilities, which should be established for the individual project.
