1. Start with a conversation
A consultation at our Little Silver studio or your property. We talk through the space, the scope, how you live or work in it, and what you want the finished project to accomplish. No obligation, and you will always be speaking with Beth.
2. Design and decisions
Space planning, materials, millwork and cabinetry design, lighting, and furnishings developed into one coherent plan, with drawings and documentation your contractor and trades can actually build from.
3. We carry it to the finish
We coordinate the trades, manage orders and timelines, and stay on the project through installation and styling, so you get a completed space rather than a plan left for you to assemble.

Do you work with New Canaan's mid-century modern homes?
Yes. A house like this was designed around a specific structural idea, usually a post and beam grid or a glass wall meant to disappear, and the fastest way to ruin it is to furnish it like a traditional home. We start from the architect's original drawings when we can find them, so a new kitchen or a furniture plan works with the module the house was built on instead of fighting it.
Can you also design a grand colonial or estate?
Absolutely. The challenge in a big colonial is usually the opposite of the modern houses: too many rooms that could each become a dead zone if they are furnished as afterthoughts. We plan a route through the whole house, so the library, the second sitting room, and the upstairs landing all get a real purpose instead of just matching furniture.
You're based in New Jersey. Do you serve New Canaan?
Yes. We serve New Canaan and greater Fairfield County. Many of our clients keep homes in more than one market and want a consistent eye across all of them.
How do you handle architecturally significant houses?
By checking the record before we touch anything. When the original architect or builder is documented, we look at what they intended for the house before deciding whether a room should go back to that or move in a new direction, and either way we loop in a preservation minded architect so structural changes do not undercut the reason the house matters.
Do you design commercial spaces in New Canaan?
Yes. In a village this small, a shopfront is judged by people who know good design when they see it, so we put real budget into the details a casual fit out skips: the door hardware, the way shelving is lit, the transition from sidewalk to threshold. Those are the things a New Canaan client notices first.
