Interior Design in Florham Park, New Jersey
Florham Park carries its history well. The town takes its name from Florence and Hamilton Twombly, whose Gilded Age estate set a tone of quiet grandeur that the borough has never entirely abandoned. Today it is one of Morris County's most desirable addresses, a place of generous lots, mature landscaping, and newer luxury enclaves, all within easy reach of the highways and the train.
What makes Florham Park unusual is its double life. Alongside those gracious residential streets sit some of New Jersey's most prominent corporate campuses and headquarters, drawing executives who live locally and work locally. That mix produces a distinctive clientele: sophisticated, well-traveled, and comfortable holding both a beautiful home and a demanding professional life to a high standard.

Luxury Residential Interior Design in Florham Park
Florham Park homes range from stately older colonials on established lots to substantial new construction in the borough's luxury enclaves. Larger houses bring a particular challenge: keeping scale from tipping into emptiness. Our answer is architecture-first design, using millwork, ceiling treatments, lighting layers, and considered furniture plans to make big rooms feel intentional and intimate rather than cavernous.
We design chef-caliber custom kitchens built for entertaining, spa-caliber primary baths with heated stone and freestanding tubs, paneled studies and libraries, wine rooms, and the built-ins that give a large home its backbone. For families building or gut-renovating, we work alongside architects and builders from the earliest drawings so the interiors are integral, not applied at the end.

Commercial Interior Design in Florham Park
Few Morris County towns are as defined by their commercial life as Florham Park, and we bring serious design thinking to it. We create executive offices, boardrooms, reception and client-facing suites, and amenity spaces for the corporate tenants and professional firms that anchor the borough's campuses and Class A buildings.

The INSABELLADESIGN Difference
Because design, sourcing, and installation all stay in-house here, we can carry a project from concept to completion with the same accountable team regardless of whether it is a home or a corporate suite, which matters in a borough where a client's house and office might be five minutes apart.
Every Florham Park project, residential or commercial, runs through founder Beth Insabella Walsh personally. That direct involvement is why clients trust us with both an office and a home, and why so much of our work arrives by referral. In a borough built on reputation, that is the endorsement that matters most.

How a Project Works
1. Start with a conversation
A consultation at our Little Silver studio or your property. We talk through the space, the scope, how you live or work in it, and what you want the finished project to accomplish. No obligation, and you will always be speaking with Beth.
2. Design and decisions
Space planning, materials, millwork and cabinetry design, lighting, and furnishings developed into one coherent plan, with drawings and documentation your contractor and trades can actually build from.
3. We carry it to the finish
We coordinate the trades, manage orders and timelines, and stay on the project through installation and styling, so you get a completed space rather than a plan left for you to assemble.

Florham Park Interior Design FAQs
Do you handle both residential and corporate projects in Florham Park?
Yes. Most clients here are dealing with one or the other, or eventually both, since the same person often owns the house and runs the business a few miles down the road. We keep both practices staffed and active rather than treating one as secondary to the other.
Can you work with our architect and builder on new construction?
Yes, and that collaboration works best before the framing is finalized. Millwork profiles, ceiling heights, and lighting locations all depend on decisions the architect and builder are making early, so we would rather be in that conversation from the start than reverse-engineer the interior after the fact.
Do you design executive offices and boardrooms?
Yes, and boardrooms in particular tend to carry a lot of unspoken weight, since that is often the room where a deal actually closes. We design them to feel substantial without feeling cold, and we scope the rest of the suite, offices, reception, the amenity spaces, around how the company actually uses the floor day to day.
How do you keep large Florham Park homes from feeling empty?
The short answer is architecture before furniture. A big empty room usually just needs more structure, millwork that breaks up a long wall, a ceiling treatment overhead, light sources at different heights, before it needs another piece of furniture. Get the architecture right first and the room stops swallowing whatever you put in it.
Is the founder personally involved in the work?
Yes. Beth reviews and signs off on the material and layout decisions herself on every project, so you are not relying on a design that was approved by someone you have never met.
Can you design wine rooms and home offices?
Yes, those come up constantly here. A wine room usually ends up being as much about entertaining as storage, and a home office for someone running a serious professional life needs the same acoustic and lighting attention as a real corporate office, not an afterthought carved out of a spare bedroom.
