Waiting and consultation rooms

Waiting rooms, consultation spaces, and staff areas need different levels of privacy and storage. We plan their relationship so visitors can find their way and staff can reach the supplies and rooms they use throughout the day.

Equipment, materials, and cleaning

Equipment, cleaning routines, and the number of users affect material and furniture choices. We review those requirements with the organization and coordinate healthcare selections with the clinical team and other responsible professionals. Residential projects begin with a separate household brief.

How a project works

01

Define the project

Tell us about your space, the people who use it, and what you want to change. After the initial consultation, a detailed proposal sets out the services and design fees.

02

Develop the design together

Review layouts, materials, lighting, and furnishings with us. We refine the selections with you and prepare the drawings and specifications included in your scope.

03

Bring the interior to completion

We coordinate the agreed work with your contractor and trades, manage furnishing orders and delivery, and stay involved through installation and styling.

Client feedback on our firm

As an architect with considerable experience with differing project types, working with Beth and her staff has been a pleasure. Beth's team brought a fresh approach to the tired-looking interior of a subsidized housing midrise project built in the 1970s. Insabella Design is a highly skilled, motivated, and reliable firm that can be an asset to any interior design project. She and her team are dependable and committed to achieving excellence in their work. I look forward to working with Beth on our next project.

New Brunswick interior design questions

Can a healthcare project include waiting and staff areas?

Yes. Those areas can be included in the agreed interior scope. We discuss patient or visitor use alongside staff workflows, privacy, storage, and maintenance, coordinating the design with the operational and technical project teams.

What determines the scope of a commercial interior project?

The scope depends on the users, activities, existing conditions, required changes, and project team. Available plans, operational priorities, equipment needs, and an anticipated investment range help us discuss the services and coordination the project needs.

What affects the design budget and timeline?

The rooms involved, extent of renovation, custom work, product availability, building requirements, and installation needs all affect the project. Share your priorities and anticipated investment at the initial consultation; a detailed proposal follows that conversation.

Can you work with my architect or contractor?

Yes. We coordinate the agreed interior design scope with the relevant project professionals. Design, engineering, construction, and approvals have different responsibilities, which should be established for the individual project.
