Luxury Residential Interior Design in Upper Saddle River
Executive families run busy, full houses, and the interiors have to earn their keep. We design chef-caliber custom kitchens with real prep and storage: furniture-grade cabinetry, stone counters, walk-in pantries, and islands sized for homework, entertaining, and everything in between. We build spa primary baths with heated stone floors and freestanding tubs, and primary suites that give parents a genuine retreat at the far end of a full house.
Beyond the headline rooms, it's the built-ins and millwork that make a large colonial feel intentional: a paneled study for the executive who works from home two days a week, custom mudrooms that survive four kids and a dog, coffered ceilings and wainscot that give a great room some architecture. 1. Start with a conversation
A consultation at our Little Silver studio or your property. We talk through the space, the scope, how you live or work in it, and what you want the finished project to accomplish. No obligation, and you will always be speaking with Beth.
2. Design and decisions
Space planning, materials, millwork and cabinetry design, lighting, and furnishings developed into one coherent plan, with drawings and documentation your contractor and trades can actually build from.
3. We carry it to the finish
We coordinate the trades, manage orders and timelines, and stay on the project through installation and styling, so you get a completed space rather than a plan left for you to assemble.

As early as you can, ideally during design or framing. Getting us in before finishes are locked lets us shape space planning, cabinetry, millwork, and lighting so the interior architecture is right from the start, which is far cheaper than fixing it after the drywall is up.
Can you make a large colonial feel warmer and less cavernous?
Yes, and it's usually a proportion problem more than a decorating one. We rework the sightlines with wainscot or a paneled ceiling plane, then size every piece of furniture to the actual volume of the room instead of a showroom floor, so a two-story foyer stops swallowing the furniture in it.
Do you design home offices for executives working from home?
Yes, and demand for them has only grown. We build paneled studies and dedicated offices with proper acoustics, built-in storage, and lighting that works on camera, a real workspace that still fits the character of the house.
Will you incorporate furniture and art we already own?
We're happy to. Part of our job is deciding what's worth keeping and building the room around it, then filling the gaps with new sourcing. Nothing gets discarded just to run up an invoice.
How involved is the founder in an Upper Saddle River project?
Very. Beth signs off on the floor plan, the material board, and the final furniture layout before anything moves forward, and she's the one you call if a decision needs to be made mid-project, not an assistant relaying it.
