Our work is largely renovation, taking a dated cottage or a builder-basic house and giving it real character and flow. We open kitchens to living space, add proper primary suites and mudrooms, thread in custom built-ins and millwork, and reorient homes toward the light and, on the riverfront and lagoon properties, the water. The before-and-after can be dramatic: from cramped and dark to bright, gracious, and effortlessly hospitable.
The finishes are upscale and the planning is practical. We design chef-caliber kitchens with generous islands, spa baths with freestanding tubs and heated floors, wide-plank floors, layered lighting, and the storage and bunk space a hardworking shore home needs. Because these houses fill up with family and guests all season, and host year-round for the residents, we plan for real use: durable surfaces, outdoor showers, bars and beverage stations, and seating for a crowd.

How a Project Works
1. Start with a conversation
A consultation at our Little Silver studio or your property. We talk through the space, the scope, how you live or work in it, and what you want the finished project to accomplish. No obligation, and you will always be speaking with Beth.
2. Design and decisions
Space planning, materials, millwork and cabinetry design, lighting, and furnishings developed into one coherent plan, with drawings and documentation your contractor and trades can actually build from.
3. We carry it to the finish
We coordinate the trades, manage orders and timelines, and stay on the project through installation and styling, so you get a completed space rather than a plan left for you to assemble.

Yes, and it is most of what we do here. A typical project starts with tearing out a choppy floor plan and dropped ceilings, then rebuilding the kitchen and living area as one open volume that still feels like a beach house rather than a builder rebuild.
Do you work on riverfront and lagoon properties?
Yes. Along the Manasquan and the lagoon blocks near the Bay Head line, that usually means planning around a dock, a bulkhead, and flood elevation requirements before a single finish gets picked, so the house works as hard as the view does.
How do you make a shore home durable enough for family use?
We build durability into the choices most people do not think to ask about: the glue holding down the wide-plank floor, the hardware finish on cabinet pulls, the backing behind a banquette cushion, so the house still looks right after a full season of wet towels and salt air.
Are you a full-service interior design firm?

Can you make a small beach house feel more spacious?

Yes. She is copied on every vendor email and signs off on every purchase order herself, which is not typical once a firm gets busy, but it is how we have always run projects here.
