In Atlantic Highlands, our residential design connects room planning, kitchens, baths, and custom furnishings with the light and architecture of your home. We develop materials, lighting, and window treatments as part of that direction, with interior documentation, sourcing, and installation coordination tailored to the work.

The view should be enjoyable from your chair, not just from the doorway. We check furniture heights and seating positions against the windows, then plan lighting and window treatments for changing daylight and evening use.
Changes in level can leave adjoining rooms feeling disconnected. We use lighting, flooring transitions, and furniture placement to make those connections clearer. Any proposed changes to stairs or structure are developed with the appropriate architect or engineer.

Review layouts, materials, lighting, and furnishing selections with us. We refine the design around your preferences and prepare the drawings and specifications included in the scope, so the project team has a coordinated direction.

We coordinate the agreed work with your contractor and trades, manage furnishing orders and delivery arrangements, and stay involved through installation and styling. Building access and product lead times are considered alongside the project schedule.
Beth Insabella Walsh brings more than 30 years of interior design experience, with work spanning private homes, corporate offices, healthcare, and government facilities. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Drexel University and previously served as Director of Interior Design at a New Jersey architecture and interiors firm.

Yes. Furniture height, seating direction, and the routes through the room all affect how a view is experienced. We study them together with glare, privacy, and lighting so the space remains comfortable beyond the view itself.
We consider window treatments while developing the room layout, lighting, and material palette. Privacy, glare, window proportions, and door access help guide the choice of curtains, shades, or other treatments.
