How a Project Works
1. Start with a conversation
A consultation at our Little Silver studio or your property. We talk through the space, the scope, how you live or work in it, and what you want the finished project to accomplish. No obligation, and you will always be speaking with Beth.
2. Design and decisions
Space planning, materials, millwork and cabinetry design, lighting, and furnishings developed into one coherent plan, with drawings and documentation your contractor and trades can actually build from.
3. We carry it to the finish
We coordinate the trades, manage orders and timelines, and stay on the project through installation and styling, so you get a completed space rather than a plan left for you to assemble.

Do you design coastal interiors that hold up to salt air and sun?
Yes. Salt air is unforgiving of the wrong choice, so we steer clients away from anything with exposed raw metal or porous unsealed stone near an ocean-facing window, and toward hardware and surfaces rated for direct marine exposure, not just coastal-adjacent use.
Can you make a shore home feel elegant rather than themed?
Absolutely. That usually means trading anchor-and-rope motifs for a quieter material story, a honed stone counter, a woven natural-fiber rug, walls in a soft warm white, so the ocean outside the window stays the most nautical thing in the room.
Do you work on oceanfront and riverfront condos as well as houses?
Yes. A condo renovation here usually means working around a fixed floor plan and building association rules on windows and balconies, so the design work is more about smart storage and sightlines within those constraints than a wide-open layout. Full gut renovations are common too, and we manage those in partnership with your contractor from demolition forward.
Will Beth Insabella Walsh personally lead my project?
Yes. She reviews shop drawings, approves finish samples in person rather than from a photo, and is the one who walks the site with your contractor when a question comes up partway through construction.
Do you handle new construction and full renovations?
We do, and we would rather join before the foundation is poured than after the framing is up. Window and door sizes, ceiling heights, and structural column placement all affect how the interior finishes and furniture plan will work, so early input avoids expensive changes later.
How is pricing determined?
It depends on scope, from a condo refresh to a full oceanfront renovation or new build. After an initial consultation we provide a clear, detailed proposal so you know exactly what to expect.
