Asbury Park is the rare Jersey Shore town where design literacy is part of the local culture. This is a city that gutted and reinvented itself, that turned faded grand hotels into destinations and drew a crowd that reads shelter magazines the way other towns read box scores. The people buying here, restoring a Queen Anne off the northwest ward, closing on a top-floor unit with the ocean filling the windows, arrive with references, opinions, and a low tolerance for the generic. That suits us perfectly.
INSABELLADESIGN has worked the length of the Monmouth County shore since 1996, and Asbury Park pulls the most range out of us. In one direction, it's coaxing a century-old Victorian back to life with plaster detail, ceiling medallions, and a kitchen that reads period-correct until you notice the induction range and the paneled refrigeration. Luxury Residential Interior Design in Asbury Park
The restored Victorians here are a specialty unto themselves. We treat them with the respect the architecture demands and none of the timidity, honoring original moldings, transoms, and turned newel posts while installing chef-caliber kitchens, spa baths with heated stone floors and freestanding tubs, and the discreet climate and lighting systems a 130-year-old house was never wired for. The goal is a home that feels authentically of its era and entirely of this century, with no seam showing between the two.
For the luxury condos and new-construction along the waterfront, the assignment flips. Here the ocean is the loudest thing in the room, and our job is to build interiors composed enough to share the stage: quartzite and rift oak, plaster walls, layered lighting on independent circuits, custom millwork that turns a developer-grade shell into something that feels commissioned. We design for how these homes actually live: open entertaining floors, primary suites engineered as retreats, and outdoor terraces treated as fully realized rooms.

1. Start with a conversation
A consultation at our Little Silver studio or your property. We talk through the space, the scope, how you live or work in it, and what you want the finished project to accomplish. No obligation, and you will always be speaking with Beth.
2. Design and decisions
Space planning, materials, millwork and cabinetry design, lighting, and furnishings developed into one coherent plan, with drawings and documentation your contractor and trades can actually build from.
3. We carry it to the finish
We coordinate the trades, manage orders and timelines, and stay on the project through installation and styling, so you get a completed space rather than a plan left for you to assemble.

We do. What tends to separate a good hospitality space from a forgettable one is what happens after opening night: finishes that still look sharp after six months of real traffic, and lighting and layout that work for a slow Tuesday lunch the same as a packed Saturday.

We specify finishes, hardware, textiles, and cabinetry rated for coastal environments, and detail for humidity and salt exposure from the outset. It's a standard part of how we design anywhere near the water.
