An open floor plan is not the answer for every home. We look at how you use separate dining, living, and work spaces, then recommend changes to doorways, furniture, or lighting where they would make the rooms easier to use.
Existing woodwork and floors help guide new cabinet finishes, fabrics, and lighting. A few repeated colors or materials can connect adjoining rooms while allowing a study, dining room, or bedroom to keep its own character.

Beth Insabella Walsh brings more than 30 years of interior design experience, with work spanning private homes, corporate offices, healthcare, and government facilities. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Drexel University and previously served as Director of Interior Design at a New Jersey architecture and interiors firm.
