The path from porch to kitchen should remain comfortable when people are coming and going. We plan furniture placement and nearby storage around that route, coordinating the adjoining rooms through lighting, fabrics, and finishes.
For a Sea Girt guest room, we plan more than the bed. Bedside lighting, window treatments, a place for luggage, and useful storage help guests settle in comfortably. If the room also serves as a study or reading space, the furniture arrangement supports that use between visits.

Beth Insabella Walsh brings more than 30 years of interior design experience, with work spanning private homes, corporate offices, healthcare, and government facilities. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Drexel University and previously served as Director of Interior Design at a New Jersey architecture and interiors firm.
