The Sea Girt house is, above all, a family house, and our design starts there. We plan for the reality of a home that sleeps twelve on the Fourth of July: mudrooms that can absorb sandy feet and beach chairs, kitchens that open to family rooms and sunporches, primary suites that offer the adults a retreat, and bunk and guest rooms that make the grandchildren want to come back. Generosity, not preciousness, is the governing idea.
Within that, we bring genuine luxury. Chef-caliber custom kitchens with marble and honed stone, spa baths with heated floors and freestanding tubs, coffered ceilings and beadboard, custom built-ins flanking the fireplace, wide-plank oak floors, and a wet bar or butler's pantry for the entertaining these homes are built to do. The finishes are high, but the mood stays relaxed. This is the shore, after all.

How a Project Works
1. Start with a conversation
A consultation at our Little Silver studio or your property. We talk through the space, the scope, how you live or work in it, and what you want the finished project to accomplish. No obligation, and you will always be speaking with Beth.
2. Design and decisions
Space planning, materials, millwork and cabinetry design, lighting, and furnishings developed into one coherent plan, with drawings and documentation your contractor and trades can actually build from.
3. We carry it to the finish
We coordinate the trades, manage orders and timelines, and stay on the project through installation and styling, so you get a completed space rather than a plan left for you to assemble.

Do you design homes built for large family gatherings?
Very much so. Sea Girt houses tend to fill up on weekends, so we plan for the crowd as much as the family of four who lives there day to day: enough bathrooms that a full house is not a bottleneck, a kitchen island that can actually seat people while someone cooks, and closets and drop zones sized for beach gear multiplied by however many cousins are staying over.
Can you make a luxury home still feel relaxed and coastal?
Yes, and that tension is really the design brief for most of our Sea Girt homes. We will run stone through a kitchen or a bath without hesitation, but we keep the furniture unfussy and the palette forgiving of wet swimsuits and sandy feet, so the house never feels like it is asking you to be careful in it.
Do you work on the beach blocks near the lighthouse?
Yes, throughout Sea Girt: the beach-block district, the Terrace, and the boulevards near the lighthouse and boardwalk. We tailor each home's interiors to its light, orientation, and proximity to the ocean.
Are you a full-service firm or decoration only?
Full-service. We handle space planning, custom kitchens and baths, millwork, lighting, furnishings, art, and project management, with Beth Insabella Walsh overseeing each phase personally.
How do you handle shore conditions like humidity and salt?
We specify moisture-stable millwork, durable hardware, and performance textiles where exposure demands it, so the interiors hold up to shore living while still looking refined.
Will the founder be involved in my Sea Girt project?
Yes. Beth walks the house herself before any plan gets drawn, and she stays the point of contact through the punch list, so nobody on the family ends up explaining the project to a new face partway through.
