The bar room began as a billiard room and was rebuilt around a deep teal LED-backlit acrylic panel, clear acrylic shelving, a quartz bar top and concealed appliances. It shows how storage, lighting, technology and atmosphere can be developed together around one client’s particular interests.
One house, rooms with different jobs
In our Colts Neck project the open living, kitchen and dining floor is organised around a two-story stacked stone fireplace and a cascading spiral staircase, with custom oversized furniture scaled to the volume. The entertainment wing works to a different brief: a black-light hallway hung with painted musician posters leads into a billiard room of deep reds and crushed velvet, with restored pinball machines and vintage arcade games alongside. One house, two atmospheres, planned together.
Specification carries the room
The bar in that residence centres on a deep teal dimmable LED-backlit acrylic panel, with clear acrylic shelving that lights the bottles, abalone shell wallcovering, dark-stained maple floors and a quartz bar top over concealed appliances. The guest bath answers something else entirely — Carrara marble, an ombre mosaic running from grey into opalescent white, heated flooring underneath. Space planning, materials, millwork and cabinetry design, lighting, and furnishings developed into one coherent plan, with drawings and documentation your contractor and trades can actually build from.
3. We carry it to the finish
We coordinate the trades, manage orders and timelines, and stay on the project through installation and styling, so you get a completed space rather than a plan left for you to assemble.
