MONMOUTH COUNTY CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER
This newly constructed project was designed to align with its mission of providing a child-centered, multidisciplinary approach to addressing child abuse. The 35,000 square foot, pro-bono project, is a warm, inviting space with child-friendly finishes for children and their families to seek care without being intimidated by an overwhelming environment. The center includes a pediatric forensic medical suite, nurse's office, interview rooms, therapy spaces, and a spacious waiting area, all tailored to be welcoming and supportive for children and families. Custom porcelain tiles featuring children's drawings decorate the hallways, while the interconnected living room, kitchen, and waiting areas are designed with home-like comforts to accommodate different case types. Careful consideration was made in the creation of this center, because all children deserve a safe place.
