A headquarters built from its own demolition: Tricon
New construction for a WBENC demolition company, with exposed brick repurposed from the client’s previous demolition project, cork flooring, and recyclable carpet tiles.
Tricon is a demolition company and a certified woman-owned business. When it built a new headquarters, the firm gave the interior a loft character using materials that say what the company does.
The exposed brick walls were repurposed from the client’s own previous demolition project. Cork flooring and recyclable carpet tiles were chosen for sustainability and for cleanability. Contemporary furniture and finishes sit against the raw brick.
What the project shows
A workplace can be built from the client’s own story rather than from a catalogue. The project page records an ASID Silver award and a Sustainable award for the work.
